What art-in-architecture services does hertzer GmbH offer?
We take on technical planning, engineering, fabrication and installation of artworks, installations and special structures for public and private spaces. In doing so, we bring the demands of design, structure and execution together into a solution that is technically and economically feasible.
Does hertzer GmbH work directly with artists?
Yes. We work directly with artists as well as with architecture practices, building owners and project managers. While the artistic design remains with its creator, we take care of the technical planning and structural realisation.
How is the structural safety of load-bearing art objects verified?
Load-bearing structures are planned, dimensioned and documented on the basis of the respective requirements. We fabricate steel and aluminium components in line with the requirements of EN 1090. The necessary shop and fabrication documents are produced by our own engineering department.
Which materials does hertzer GmbH work with?
In our workshops we work steel, aluminium, timber and panel materials as well as plastics, fabrics and other project-specific materials. Surfaces and finishes are carried out by our decoration workshop and scenic painters. Where needed, we coordinate additional services through long-standing partner companies.
